The Fuel System

Before I painted the chassis I bent the fuel pipes to shape and drilled all the holes for the P-clips.  This was to save scratching the paintwork.

The fuel pipes have been clipped in place.

Had a minor problem.  I read the instructions, rather belatedly, and discovered that I should have mounted the fuel pump at 45 degrees, rather than level.  I managed to angle it a bit - I think I got it to about 30 degrees.  I'm not really sure why this is necessary, but nobody would tell me for sure that it would work level so I thought I'd better change it while it was downright awkward rather than impossible.  (I.e. After the car had been finished and didn't work !)
